The Soda Factory is proud to announce that this November we will be taking part in Great Southern Nights – a joint initiative between ARIA, Destination NSW and the State Government aimed at bringing 1,000 Covid-Safe gigs to venues across NSW to help kick-start live music. Thurs, Nov 12 – Furnace & the Fundamentals
Providing an eclectic blend of the best songs ever written, delivered with all the character of the original and twice the energy, Furnace and the Fundamentals give the people what they want – better than they remembered it.Thousands of fans across Australia, the UK & Europe have seen Furnace earn their reputation as bona fide party starters, including show-stopping performances at Falls Festival, the British Grand Prix, Edinburgh Fringe, Lost Paradise, St Kilda Festival, NYE at Sydney Harbour and countless packed club shows.
Sunday, Nov 15 (8pm) – Essie Holt
Essie Holt is a Sydney based singer/songwriter/producer, making waves in the indie pop world with her ever growing sense of depth and authenticity. Essie’s singles ‘Magnetise’, ‘Better For You’ and ‘Give Me The Night’, were all added to spot rotation on triple j, as well as seeing her named Unearthed Feature Artist in 2019. Essie has played festival slots at THIS THAT and Ice Cream Factory, and supported the likes of Tkay Maizda, Northeast Partyhouse, LEON (SWE) and Nina Nesbitt (UK).
Thurs, Nov 19 (8pm) – Carlos C Major
R’n’B soul artist Carlos Velazquez, aka ‘C Major’, has Latin rhythms pumping through his veins. Revered in Sydney’s music scene for his dynamic high-energy performances, Carlos has recently produced music with big name artists including Timomatic and Stan Walker. Most recently seen on The Voice Australia (Season 8, 2019) as an ALL STAR, he was invited back from performing on The Voice 2014 where he was mentored by Latino Superstar Ricky Martin. Carlos was also a singer on Channel 9’s ‘Dancing With The Stars’ 2019.
Sunday, Nov 29 – Luciana Valentina
Luciana Valentina is a 23-year-old singer-songwriter, composer, actress and model. A storyteller, Luciana Valentina crafts songs that deal with the human experience with powerful poetry and intricate musicality. Bogotá-born, this young singer possesses a voice that undoubtedly makes you stop and pay attention. Her repertoire is eclectic and quirky, with no song ever sounding like the other yet all have the undoubtedly recognisable Luciana twist. Luciana has performed in festivals, renown venues and has recently returned from a nation-wide, Australian tour with Grammy-Award-Winners ‘Los Amigos Invisibles’.
